AK - AMV - 2K11 RULES
Hello and welcome to our first AMV contest! We are very excited to see
what all of you can come up with. Please read all of the following rules and guide lines.
AMV CATEGORIES:
ACTION
COMEDY
COMMERCIAL PARODIES
RANDOM
EFFECTS
(A new category may be created if enough entries are received.)
VIDEO FORMATS: We will accept .avi, .wmv and .mov
We will reject .swf, .mp4, .mpg, any files that do not work.
MINIMUM QUALITY: Video size should be at least 512 x 360 and at
least 23 frames/sec.
MAXIMUM LENGTH: The hard limit is 5 minutes which will include
all bumpers, intro, ending, opening and closing titles.
SUBTITLES: These are to be removed by the creator unless they are
carefully selected to complement the work. Exception: You may create
your own subtitles and overlay graphics to add to the work.
ALL VIDEOS MUST BE RATED PG-13 AND HAVE RADIO-CLEAN LYRICS.
JUDGING: All entries will be pre-screened by a panel of judges who will select
the final play list. The judges may move an entry into a different
category if they collectively believe that it is a better fit (i.e.
more effective or more entertaining). The judges may create a new
category if a number of entries are received which would support such
a theme or event class. The decision of the judges' panel –which is final--will be announced at the end of viewing.
SUBMISSIONS & DEADLINE:
Submit your video and the following information to amv@atamakon.com by 5pm on date pending. All submissions must include your full name, e-mail address, video with title and description. Videos submited without a title and description will be disqualified.
PRIZES
We will be awarding prizes to the winner of each category and one amv will
win Grand Champion of Atama Kon 2010.
Each winner will receive an Atama Kon 2010 t-shirt and free 3 day V.I.P pass for Atama Kon 2011.
Winner of Grand Champion will also receive $50 cash and a guest judges spot for Atama Kon 2011 AMV contest.
