Here are some of the categories you may sign up for at both Atama Kon cosplay events:
Manga/Anime
Comic book
Video game
Movies
Music
Original characters will require reference pictures or sketches.
Rules for Atama Kon Cosplay events:
Anyone in costume may enter Cosplay contest and shows... No costume is No costume.
The bare minimum acceptable level of clothing will be a bikini or body paint with pasties and a bikini bottom.
Weapons or props must be checked in with an Atama Kon staff member. All weapons must be peace tied at all times, unless on stage with approval from staff.
No harassment of Cosplayers will be tolerated; please ask permission before taking pictures.
All judges decisions are final.
Hallway Cosplay Rules:
Sign-up, stay in line and wait till you are called.
Be ready to answer questions about your character.
Wait to have a picture taken.
Be sure to let us know if you are not able to stay for the announcement of the winners for the day.
Cosplay Show Rules:
Sign-up will be around the same time as Hallway Cosplay.
Be sure to fill out a form. If there is not a form turned in, you will not be able to participate in the show. Also, at the time of sign-up you will be asked to have a picture taken.
Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the pre show orientation / walk through.
ANYONE who does not attend pre show orientation will not be able to participate in the show and your spot will be given to someone on the wait List. This means even if you are on the wait list you WILL want to come to the pre show orientation.
When on stage, you will only have 30 seconds to show your cosplay costume. Use your time wisely.
